Welcome to EasyEntry. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and EasyEntry LLC, a New York limited liability company ("EasyEntry", "we", "us", or "our"), and govern your access to and use of the EasyEntry website at easyentry.ai and the software services we provide through it (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to do so. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
When these Terms apply. These Terms apply from September 29, 2026 to anyone who creates an account or starts using the Service on or after that date. If your account was created before September 29, 2026, these Terms take effect for your account thirty (30) days after we notify you of them by email or through the Service, as the previous version of these Terms (last updated April 19, 2026, which remains available at easyentry.ai/terms-2026-04-19.html) provides; until then, that previous version continues to apply to your account.
EasyEntry turns bank and credit-card statements into a draft profit-and-loss statement ("P&L"). You upload statements — CSV or text exports, PDFs, or photos. The Service extracts the transactions (using artificial intelligence for PDFs and photos), checks them against the totals printed on the statement where it can, and uses artificial intelligence to sort each transaction into standard P&L categories. It may ask you about transactions it cannot categorize confidently. You can review and change categories, save P&Ls to your account, see a year-to-date view, and export the results (Excel, CSV, QuickBooks formats, or print to PDF).
EasyEntry is a software tool. It is not a bookkeeper, accountant, tax preparer, or financial advisor, and it does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Section 8 below describes the limits of the Service in more detail, and you should read it carefully before relying on the Service for any purpose.
EasyEntry offers the following plans, priced in U.S. dollars:
Prices do not include sales or other taxes, which are added where required by law. Promotional codes, when we offer them, apply as described in the offer.
What a page is. A page is one P&L run: each time you generate a P&L, one page is used. One run can combine several uploaded files (for example, the pages of one statement) and up to 1,000 transactions.
Monthly and annual plans. On a monthly plan, your pages reset at the start of each billing period. An annual plan is billed once a year and gives you the plan's monthly page allowance each month of the paid year, starting on the day of the month your subscription started (or the last day of a shorter month). When a subscription renews, the new billing period's pages become available once its renewal payment has gone through, normally within a few hours of the renewal. Unused pages do not carry over. Pages can be used only while your plan is active and, on a paid plan, while its payments are up to date.
No plan changes. Plans can't be switched. An existing account can't move to a different plan, can't move between monthly and annual billing, and can't hold a second subscription. To use a different plan, sign up with a different email address; that is a separate account with its own plan, pages and saved P&Ls, and saved P&Ls are not moved between accounts. You can cancel your current plan at any time (see below).
Automatic renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual, as applicable) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from Manage billing in the app, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; until then you can keep using that period's pages. When your plan ends, your account returns to the free plan with no trial page. You can still sign in to view, export and delete your saved P&Ls.
Refunds. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once charged. Annual subscriptions are refundable, prorated for time used, within fourteen (14) days of the initial charge if you have used fewer than two pages during that period. After that window, annual plans are non-refundable. We reserve the right to grant refunds outside this policy at our discretion.
Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices at any time with at least thirty (30) days' notice, sent to the email address on your account. Price changes will take effect on your next renewal after the notice period.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries the charge. While a payment is overdue, your plan's pages can't be used. If a payment can't be collected after retries, the subscription may be canceled; when it is, your account returns to the free plan with no trial page.
When using the Service, you agree that you will not:
We may set and change usage limits to protect the Service, refuse or pause uploads and runs that exceed them, and suspend accounts that misuse the Service.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including bank and credit-card statements, transaction details, business information, and any other files you submit, and of the P&Ls generated from them (collectively, "Your Data"). We claim no ownership of Your Data.
You grant us a limited license to process Your Data solely to provide the Service to you: reading your files, sending their contents to the artificial-intelligence provider we use (Anthropic) to extract and categorize transactions, saving the P&Ls you generate to your account, keeping backups, returning results to you, and maintaining the logs needed to operate the Service. We do not sell Your Data and we do not use it to train AI models, and our AI provider's commercial terms prohibit it from training models on it.
We do not keep the files you upload, and EasyEntry is not a record-keeping service: keep your own copies of your statements, and export any P&L you need to keep. Saved P&Ls stay in your account until you delete them or your account is deleted.
Our Privacy Policy, available at easyentry.ai/privacy.html, describes in detail how we handle Your Data.
EasyEntry, including its software, design, user interface, branding, documentation, and any content we create, is owned by EasyEntry LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual-property rights to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose while you have an account, and nothing more.
The Service depends on third-party services, including our AI, payment, hosting and email providers, and may be unavailable or slow when they are. We may change, add or remove features, change the AI models we use, and change usage limits. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to read statements and to categorize transactions. Artificial intelligence can and does make mistakes: it can miss transactions, misread amounts or signs, invent entries, and put transactions in the wrong category. Where a statement prints its totals or balances, the Service checks the extracted transactions against them and warns you when they don't match, and it marks P&Ls and Excel exports built from statements it could not verify. A P&L that passes this check can still be wrong — the check does not catch a transaction put in the wrong category. CSV files are read without AI and checked against themselves where the file allows it. All output of the Service is a draft that requires your review, not a finished document.
You acknowledge and agree that:
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components, and we make no warranty regarding the accuracy of AI-generated output.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EasyEntry LLC, together with its members, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates, will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, regardless of the cause of action, will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EasyEntry LLC and its members, officers, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or (d) any content you upload to the Service.
You may cancel your paid plan at any time from Manage billing (Section 3). To close your account, email help@easyentry.ai from the address on the account; we will delete it as described in our Privacy Policy. Canceling a plan or closing an account stops further billing; it does not automatically refund any amount already paid.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if your account has unpaid fees, or if we are required to do so by law. We will try to give you notice when it is reasonable to do so, but are not obligated to do so in cases involving abuse, fraud, or legal requirement.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Informal resolution first. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at help@easyentry.ai and give us sixty (60) days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Class-action waiver. To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page, update the "Last updated" date above, and notify you by email or through the Service. Changes take effect thirty (30) days after notice, except that changes required for legal or security reasons may take effect immediately. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
